Japan’s sex doll industry claims to have reached the next level in creating the perfect artificial partner after developing realistic feeling “skin” and authentic “eyes”.
The dolls – which are nicknames “Dutch Wives” – are apparently so realistic, the Japanese media is convinced that if you buy one you will never need a real girlfriend ever again.
Although if you’re the type of person who buys one of these the chances are you don’t want a real girlfriend anyway.
Early sales indicate that customers approve as stocks of the dolls – which retail for around £1,000 (N271,206) – have been flying off the shelves.

The dolls are part of a high-tech industry in Japan constantly looking at ways to make sex toys as realistic as possible.
The latest models include movable joints designed to place the plastic partners in whatever position the buyer prefers.
Company spokesman Osami Seto said: “The two areas were identified as really needing improvement were the skin and the eyes, and we feel we have finally got something that is arguably not distinguishable from the real thing”
The dolls also come with a selection of clothing to prevent the new owner from having to suffer the embarrassment of visiting the local lingerie department.
